Rural funding recipients face new reporting
Beginning November 1, 2025, covered Rural Economic Action Plan of 1996 recipients must plan how to measure project effects. This covers entities receiving funding under 62 O.S. § 2003(G) or § 2007(A)-(B). The plan must measure qualitative effects and may use questions or surveys of residents, local governments, or municipalities. By January 1, 2028, each covered recipient must report on at least two funded projects to the Oklahoma Department of Commerce. Recipients must pay for the plan and report using initial planning expenditure payments authorized under 62 O.S. § 2011(C).
