The law raises the Tennessee Housing Development Agency’s bond and note cap from $4 billion to $5 billion. The agency can now have up to $5 billion outstanding at one time. This gives it more room to fund below‑market home loans and other housing finance for low‑ and moderate‑income Tennesseans. The change takes effect immediately.
