Tennessee investigators can choose senior fraud probes
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation now decides when to act on reports of elder financial exploitation. It may investigate when appropriate and may work with the district attorney, other police, and adult protective services. Before, the bureau had to coordinate additional investigation with those agencies. The law is now in effect.
