Tennessee schools get another drug education option
Tennessee school districts can adopt the Law Enforcement Against Drugs and Violence (LE.AD.) program in schools they operate. They can use it instead of Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE). Adoption is optional, and the law adds no funding, curriculum standards, reporting duties, or enforcement requirements. The law took effect upon enactment.
