Providers must report alpha-gal cases

On or before July 1, 2025, the Commissioner of Health adds alpha-gal syndrome to Tennessee’s list of reportable diseases. After it is listed, healthcare providers must report alpha-gal cases to the Department of Health under department rules. Those rules set the timing, form, and data for reports. The Department uses the reports to track and respond to this condition statewide. The act is now law.
