The state creates a program to reimburse Tennessee National Guard members for individual TRICARE Reserve Select or TRICARE Dental premiums. You must be a Guard member, eligible for those plans, and not get health or dental coverage from a civilian employer. It covers individual premiums only, not family plans. If the federal government later pays any part, the state stops paying that part. The Adjutant General publishes the application rules. Beginning July 1, 2025, reimbursements are available only if the legislature appropriates money.
