This law updates Tennessee’s property tax assessment rules. It deletes one subdivision in a new disaster-related section. It also replaces “in lieu of” with “with or without” in one rule, and removes the last sentence in another. These edits change the wording used by assessors when valuing damaged or changed property. All changes take effect immediately.
