Veteran ID mark for honorably discharged National Guard

Honorably discharged National Guard members are now eligible for the veteran designation covered by this law. To apply, you must show proof of an honorable discharge: an honorable discharge certificate, Department of Defense Form 256 (DD 256), or National Guard Bureau Form 22 that shows an honorable discharge. You still must meet any other application rules in this section. This change is in effect now.
