Court clerks personally owe unpaid taxes

If you are a court clerk, any state privilege tax you fail to collect and send in becomes your personal debt. You owe the Tennessee Department of Revenue for those unpaid amounts. "Clerk of the court" includes clerks for the courts listed in § 67-4-604. This law takes effect upon becoming law.
