Hardeman County must approve 92% share

The law raises a local percentage from 85% to 92% in Hardeman County’s 1937 private act. The change takes effect only after a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the county legislative body. The presiding officer must announce the vote and certify it to the Tennessee Secretary of State. Until that approval and certification happen, no other part of this act takes effect locally. Who gains or pays more depends on how that 92% figure applies in the county’s formula.
