Bartlett can repeal a 2007 city law

The law repeals Chapter 47 of the Private Acts of 2007 for the City of Bartlett. The repeal only takes effect if the city’s legislative body approves it by a two‑thirds vote. After the vote, the presiding officer must proclaim the result and certify it to the Tennessee Secretary of State. Until the city approves and certifies the result, Chapter 47 stays in place, and nothing changes. The law is effective now only to let the city hold the approval vote.
