Every Tennessee court must cooperate with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and other federal immigration authorities. This applies when those agencies enforce federal immigration law. A judge who blocks lawful DHS actions can be sent to the Tennessee Board of Judicial Conduct. If the Board finds misconduct, that can be grounds for removal under the state constitution. The law is in effect.
