Comptroller must report annual relief program costs

The law changes how the state comptroller reports costs. It deletes a clause in municipal law and a subsection in education law. The comptroller now must each year estimate the cost of the relief program under current rules. The comptroller reports this estimate to the Department of Finance and Administration and to the General Assembly during budget preparation. The law takes effect upon becoming law.
