Licensed surveyor needed for new deed descriptions

When a deed describes property that has never been described in a recorded document, the description must come from a Tennessee-registered land surveyor. A licensed attorney may prepare the description only if they use a survey made by a registered land surveyor. This applies to deeds of conveyance statewide. The law takes effect upon becoming law.
