The law repeals two state raccoon rules. Beginning July 1, 2026, the rules in those sections no longer apply. People and agencies previously limited or empowered by them see changes to permits, duties, or enforcement. The law does not add new replacement raccoon rules. All other Tennessee wildlife laws still apply.
