Higher court fees for probation and diversion

Beginning July 1, 2026, two court fees rise. The probation supervision fee goes from $45 to $60. The judicial diversion fee goes from $35 to $60. People who owe these fees must pay $60 each time.

Cities pay for autopsies they request

Beginning July 1, 2026, if a city or its police ask for an autopsy, the city pays the cost unless the state pays. The city becomes the default payer for autopsies it requests.
