Free courthouse gun lockers for legal carriers

The county sheriff can offer secure gun lockers at or near a public entrance to a county courthouse. This applies when the courthouse bans or restricts guns under state law. If you are legally carrying under §§ 39-17-1351, 39-17-1366, or 39-17-1307, you can store your gun there for free. Lockers are separate, lockable units. This lets you leave your firearm outside the restricted area.
