Free firearm lockers at courthouses

When a county courthouse bans firearms by law, the county sheriff may offer secure, lockable gun lockers near a public entrance. The lockers are for people carrying under Tenn. Code §§ 39-17-1351, 39-17-1366, or 39-17-1307. Storage is free to you. Sheriffs choose whether to provide lockers; the law does not require it. This law is now in effect.
