Fraud case fees paused when counties opt in

When a county adopts the cost allowed by § 40-3-106, local officials stop enforcing extra fraud and economic crime fees in that county. Any fraud-fee money already collected and held by the district attorney stays on hold. It stays held until collections under § 40-3-106 equal or exceed the balance in the § 40-3-207 account. Then, the balance in the § 40-3-207 account is sent back to the county where the fees were first assessed and collected.
