Campaign workers can use polling place restrooms

Beginning July 1, 2026, county election commissions can mark certain restrooms in a voting building for campaign workers and volunteers. If you work for a campaign outside the polling place, you may use only those restrooms. You may not enter the polling place itself. Before crossing the marked boundary around the polling place, you must cover or remove any clothing or items with campaign messages. Entering that boundary with visible campaign material, or asking for votes there, can be punished under state law (§ 2-19-119). This law does not change other polling-place access rules.
