Farm utility vehicles get speed-limit exemption
Utility terrain vehicles (UTVs) used for agricultural purposes are exempt from the 45-mph-or-less road speed restriction. This exemption applies on Tennessee state highways and county roads. Other restrictions in Tennessee Code Annotated § 55-8-185(c)(1)(A)(i)-(iv) still apply. The change took effect when the law was enacted.
