Beginning September 1, 2025, Texas passenger transportation permit holders can store sealed alcohol containers of any size at airports they regularly serve. Storage is also allowed within five miles of those airports, in the same county. Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission storage rules still apply. Permit holders can sell or serve alcohol from any size container on commercial passenger airplanes licensed by U.S. or Texas authorities. This is allowed even when flights cross areas where alcohol sales are banned.
