Beginning with the 2025–2026 academic year, eligible Texas public college students receive two diplomas at graduation without extra fees. Their school must have merged with another college, been acquired, or changed its name while they were enrolled. Students must graduate within six years of that change. One diploma uses the school's original name, style, and symbols from when the student first enrolled. The other uses the school's name after the change.
