Beginning September 1, 2025, Texas county clerks can post official notices, including commissioners court agendas, electronically instead of on paper. County bodies must post each meeting notice on a courthouse bulletin board convenient to the public or an authorized electronic display. Display devices must meet existing location, timing, and public access rules. Notices on a county’s public website must meet existing timing rules. Notices posted before September 1, 2025, remain under the earlier law.
