Virgin Islands officials lose raises, must repay
The law cancels the Virgin Islands Public Officials Compensation Commission’s August 2024 pay recommendations. It also reverses any pay adjustments already put in place under those recommendations. All money paid under them, including salary increases, must return to the Virgin Islands Treasury’s General Fund. The deadline is 30 days after enactment.
