St. Croix road renamed and signs funded
The law renames Contentment Road on St. Croix to “Senator Alicia “Chucky” Hansen Lane.” The Department of Public Works must put a sign at each end within 90 days after enactment. The government provides $10,000 from the St. Croix Capital Improvement Fund to Public Works in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, to pay for the signs. This use is allowed even if the fund normally has limits under 33 V.I.C. § 3087(a).
