Land for Charlotte Amalie High School expansion
The law transfers a defined portion of Parcel No. 2C Estate Ross, No. 8 New Quarter, St. Thomas, from the Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority to the Department of Property and Procurement. The land is for the Virgin Islands Department of Education to use only for Charlotte Amalie High School—development, rebuilding, daily operations, and expansion. Within 90 days, Property and Procurement, Public Works, and Education must hire a legal survey to set the exact boundaries and acreage. After the survey, the Housing Finance Authority must sign a deed to convey the property and record it with the Recorder of Deeds. This clears ownership so the school can expand and operate on the site.
