State funding for unemployment applicant identity checks

Wisconsin's Department of Workforce Development can now use unemployment administration funds for identity checks when federal money is unavailable. The funding schedule is updated every two years. Any unspent, uncommitted balance on June 30 of each odd-numbered year still goes to the unemployment program integrity fund. The law does not specify a direct household payment or change in benefit amounts.
