Beginning July 1, 2026, Wyoming’s Department of Revenue can send sales tax notices electronically if taxpayers provide an electronic contact option. Some sales and use tax notices no longer require mailing or delivery in person. The department can post notices monthly on its website for vendors or taxpayers at least 150 days late. This applies only when they have no formal payment plan and have received 30 days’ written notice.
