Wyoming school boards may lease district property for the district’s benefit. Beginning July 1, 2026, rental fees for youth clubs and activities not sponsored by the district are capped. The hourly cap covers only actual staff, equipment, utility, and supply costs that the specific use adds during the rental period. Districts may allow free use. On request, districts must provide an itemized cost statement within 15 days. Districts cannot require formal nonprofit status or any other specific corporate status as a condition of use. The law does not impair contracts or agreements entered into before July 1, 2026.
