72-1311A. COMPELLING PERSONAL CIRCUMSTANCES. (1) "Compelling personal circumstances," for the purpose of section 72-1366(4), Idaho Code, means: (a) The serious illness, necessary treatment by a health care provider, death, or funeral of an immediate family member; (b) The wedding of the claimant or an immediate family member; (c) The birth of the claimant’s child; (d) Sincerely held religious beliefs that do not allow working on a certain day; (e) Travel not exceeding twenty-four (24) hours necessary to obtain essential goods and services not available in the claimant’s locality; or (f) Required service for jury duty or attendance at court proceedings or depositions pursuant to a lawfully issued subpoena. (2) For purposes of this section, "immediate family member" means a claimant’s spouse, child, foster child, parent, brother, sister, grandparent, grandchild, or the same relation by marriage.
