Release of fertilizer on impervious turf; application of fertilizer on frozen or saturated turf.

Sec. 8512f. (1) A person who releases fertilizer on an impervious surface shall do both of the following: (a) Promptly contain the fertilizer. (b) Either legally apply the fertilizer to turf or another appropriate site or return the fertilizer to an appropriate container. (2) A person shall not apply a fertilizer to turf if the soil is frozen or saturated with water.
