Rules to prescribe training standards.

Sec. 13830. (1) The department shall promulgate rules to prescribe training standards for both medical and nonmedical personnel who handle medical waste in producing facilities. (2) Each producing facility shall train its personnel who handle medical waste pursuant to the rules promulgated under subsection (1).
