Sec. 18817. (1) A veterinarian may consult with an owner on the use of marihuana or industrial hemp on an animal of the owner. (2) As used in this section: (a) "Industrial hemp" means that term as defined in section 7106. (b) "Marihuana" means that term as defined in section 7106.
