Hospitality and tourism CTE programs.

Sec. 67d. (1) From the state school aid fund money appropriated in section 11, there is allocated for 2026-2027 only an amount not to exceed $900,000.00 to districts and intermediate districts to partner with nonprofit organizations for the provision of hospitality and tourism CTE programs. (2) Districts and intermediate districts shall apply for funding under this section in a form and manner determined by the department. (3) Notwithstanding section 17b, the department shall make payments under this section on a schedule determined by the department. (4) As used in this section, "hospitality and tourism CTE programs" means career and technical education programs that teach or train students in restaurant management, culinary arts or hospitality, and tourism management as part of career and professional development.
