Annual report on work project accounts.

Sec. 164n. By not later than 6 months after the state budget office issues work project letters, and again on or before April 15, the department and the department of lifelong education, advancement, and potential shall submit an annual report to the senate and house appropriations subcommittees on school aid, the senate and house fiscal agencies, and the senate and house policy offices that summarizes all work project accounts. The report described in this section must include all of the following: (a) A list of all work project accounts. (b) The status of all work project accounts, including amounts expended, amounts encumbered, and available balances for each account. (c) The amount of funds that lapsed from any previously designated work project accounts, the name and description of the work project account, and the funds that received the lapsed amounts.
