State fiscal recovery funds; reappropriation.

Sec. 295. The state budget director shall take steps to ensure that all state fiscal recovery funds allocated to this state under the American rescue plan act of 2021, Public Law 117-2, are expended by December 31, 2026, as required by law. Any state fiscal recovery funds that would otherwise lapse after September 30, 2026 are automatically reappropriated for the same purpose as originally authorized and available for expenditure through December 31, 2026 and any subsequent financial closeout period.
