Sec. 4. Each member of the legislature shall receive, at the expense of the state, 1 copy of the laws, journals and documents of the house of which he is a member and the same insurance benefits as are provided for classified state employees; and an expense allowance of $2,500.00 per annum. The speaker of the house of representatives shall receive an additional expense allowance of $5,000.00.
