Sec. 8. This act does not apply to either of the following: (a) Contracts between performing rights societies and broadcasters licensed by the federal communications commission. (b) Investigations by a law enforcement agency or other person regarding a suspected violation of 1994 PA 210, MCL 752.1051 to 752.1057.
