Group disability insurance; issuance; filing and approval of form.

Sec. 3401a. (1) An insurer authorized to write disability insurance in this state may issue group disability insurance policies. (2) Except as otherwise provided in section 2236(8)(d), an insurer shall not deliver or issue for delivery in this state a group disability insurance policy unless a copy of the form has been filed with and approved by the director.
