Applicability of provisions to health maintenance organization.

Sec. 3503. (1) Unless specifically excluded, or otherwise specifically provided for in this chapter, all of the provisions of this act that apply to a domestic insurer authorized to issue a health insurance policy apply to a health maintenance organization. (2) Sections 408, 410, 411, and 901, and chapters 77 and 79 do not apply to a health maintenance organization.
