103I.241 ACTION FOR WELL CONTAMINATION. § Subdivision 1.Owner's cause of action for well contamination. The owner of real property where a well is located has a cause of action for civil damages against a person whose action or inaction caused contamination of a well. The property owner may commence an action for a period of six years after the owner knows or becomes aware of the contamination of the well. § Subd. 2.Court awards. The court may award damages, reasonable attorney fees, and costs and disbursements. History: 1989 c 326 art 3 s 15
