148E.050 LICENSING; SCOPE OF PRACTICE. § Subdivision 1.Requirements. The practice of social work must comply with the requirements of subdivision 2, 3, 4, or 5. § Subd. 2.Licensed social worker. A licensed social worker may engage in social work practice except that a licensed social worker must not engage in clinical practice. § Subd. 3.Licensed graduate social worker. A licensed graduate social worker may engage in social work practice except that a licensed graduate social worker must not engage in clinical practice except under the supervision of a licensed independent clinical social worker or an alternate supervisor according to section 148E.120. § Subd. 4.Licensed independent social worker.
