84A.38 DEPARTMENT TO ACCEPT GIFTS. The department may receive for the state and acknowledge any gift, bequest, devise, or grant of land, or interests in lands, in a project, or of money or personal property of any kind, that it finds suitable for use in connection with the operation, control, development, or use of projects.
