The Exam Validity Extension Program (EVEP) provides an opportunity for registered representatives and investment adviser representatives to extend their state qualification exams. This program allows industry professionals to maintain their state qualification exams for up to five years if they maintain compliance with their continuing education requirements. The program is designed to provide flexibility for currently registered persons who, due to various reasons, may need to leave and then return to the industry

The public participation provisions of 40 CFR 51.166 are incorporated in the Ch. 5 text, rather than incorporated by reference, and are updated to reflect the changes to the provisions of the Clean Air Act permitting programs. Other minor typographical and editorial changes are also included
