Five-member ex-officio constitutional body that oversees ~5.2 million acres of Montana state trust lands held in trust for K-12 schools, the university system, and other beneficiary institutions (Enabling Act of 1889). Day-to-day administration is handled by DNRC's Trust Land Management Division.
