(1) At the time so fixed, the council shall meet and hear all such objections and for the purpose may adjourn from day to day and may modify such resolution in whole or in part. (2) A copy of such resolution as finally adopted, certified by the city clerk, must be delivered within 2 days after its passage to the city treasurer.
