Approval Of Purchase Orders

The department may not approve a claim for printing submitted by a state officer, agency, or institution unless: (1) a purchase order has been prepared and approved by the department prior to ordering the printing; or (2) written approval has been given by the department to order the printing without preparation of a purchase order.
