This part may be cited as the "Montana Soil Survey Act".

(1) The legislature finds that the soils of the state of Montana are one of its most basic and precious natural resources and that detailed knowledge of soil capabilities and adaptability is essential for: (a) making wise land use decisions; (b) preparing plans for cities, towns,…
