Harming an animal trained to aid a person with a disability in the second degree

§ 195.11 Harming an animal trained to aid a person with a disability in\n the second degree.\n A person is guilty of harming an animal trained to aid a person with a\ndisability in the second degree when such person intentionally causes\nphysical injury to such animal while it is in the performance of aiding\na person with a disability, and thereby renders such animal incapable of\nproviding such aid to such person, or to another person with a\ndisability.\n For purposes of this section and section 195.12 of this article, the\nterm "disability" means "disability" as defined in subdivision\ntwenty-one of section two hundred ninety-two of the executive law.\n Harming an animal trained to aid a person with a disability in the\nsecond degree is a class B misdemeanor.\n
