§ 521-d. Deceptive acts prohibited. It is hereby declared to be a\ndeceptive trade practice and unlawful for a credit card registration\nservice to misrepresent in its advertising, promotional materials, sales\nmaterials, or in any other manner the nature of the services to be\nperformed, the identity of the provider of the services, or the\nconsequences of failing to subscribe to the services.\n
